Gluten Free Goodness

Gluten Free Goodness. A restaurant in Frisco, TX whose name lives up to food! It’s not common to find a dedicated Gluten Free Restaurant. If you don’t have Celiac Disease, you might not understand the anxiety that comes with attempting to eat out at a place where gluten is in every dish. When I heard of GFG, I couldn’t wait to check it out. Needless to say, I was overwhelmed with how amazing the food was!

We started out with the Loaded Fries. They were covered in cheese and pepperoni with marinara on the side. I’m not sure if the fries tasted so good because they’re ‘cute and curly’ but we devoured them!

Next up on the menu was the Classic Wagyu Burger, Fried Chicken Sandwich, and a pizza!

The burger was incredibly flavorful!

I have never had a GF Fried Chicken that was so crunchy and juicy! I’d have to argue that it’s the best fried chicken out there. The pizza was like taking a bite into New York City. IYKYK.

Before I had the chance to write this review, I went back for more! This time we started with the Cheesy Garlic Bread. If I could order a bucket of it every day, I would. It was the perfect combination of crunchy, cheesy, and all the Italian spices to make your heart happy!

My boyfriend ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries. (The cute curly fries!) It received his stamp of approval and there wasn’t any evidence to show otherwise.

I decided on the Chicken Parmesan sandwich and fries. I was amazed at how much food there was! The chicken was crunchy, bread was toasty, covered in sauce and cheese.. need I go on?

GFG also offers a Brunch menu on the weekend. Three words. Chicken and Waffles. I haven’t personally tried it yet but I’m dying to! When you look at the menu.. just glance at the B.A.D.D Sandwich too. I’m pretty sure its what dreams are made of.

The food here is so great that even the people I brought with me (that are not GF) enjoyed it tremendously. I pray for the longevity of this restaurant not just for me, but for the Gluten Free Community in North Texas. It’s a hidden gem that needs to be known!
